The government of Costa Rica's foreign entry system in a very poor and unreliable, our border police are very rudimentary and efficiency is scarce. A few months ago we were facing a serious problem because the entry of dangerous aliens who came to conduct business in drugs, weapons, prostitution etc. Had become the center of San Jose in their land, so much so that there is a place called "Dominican land" where crime is rife drug trafficking, prostitution, assaults, murders, and that is where much Ticos wonder where is the police? How do these people allowed into the country?
Immigration policies are limited and inefficient, are the same case with our neighbors to the north, thousands coming across the border as illegal and nothing happens to them, some come to work honestly but others come to destroy, and perform acts of crime. For Costa Rica enter thousands of people every day for this is that the authorities should be more strict and careful, but in a few years we will be converted into no man's land
